The Annual Cycle Ride and Walk takes place in 2010 on 11 September. It is an opportunity to visit some of our most beautiful buildings and to raise money for their preservation. |

For many years the Staffordshire Historic Churches Trust has participated in the annual Cycle Ride and Walk organised by Historic Churches Trusts throughout England. The Annual Cycle Ride and Walk takes place on the second Saturday in September each year. On that day many churches in Staffordshire are open to visitors. Cyclists and pedestrians taking part are sponsored for their efforts, as are others registering visits to individual churches. The riders and walkers journey to as many open churches as possible and, in addition to benefiting from the pleasures of visiting these wonderful buildings, take part in a healthy activity raising money for their nominated churches and the Trust. We hope as many as possible will participate. The 2010 Cycle Ride and Walk will take place on 11 September 2010.
